	date: 2007.12.27 place: Oulu author: ssheikki subject: Year 2007 The year 2007 was for me strongly dominated by the Erasmus Mundus SpaceMaster programme which was really good experience but did not unfortunately further my Ph.D. studies at all. Luckily though I managed to get a very good Ph.D. thesis topic and project, called SpacePartner, from the ESA Network Partnering programme. I will start this project at the beginning of January 2008 with 9 month visit to European Space Research and Technology Center (ESTEC) in the Netherlands. This is really convenient for me especially because I will be able to live in the same city, i.e. Leiden, with my girlfriend Cynthia.
